Homemade pizza is very simple and can be made with any toppings of our choice. My toppings today are Chicken, Peppers and sweet corn, which are my kids favourite. You can add any toppings of your choice like Mushroom, Panneer, Jalapenos, Olives, Onion, Tomato and more.
Ingredients
For Base

2 cups of All Purpose flour

1 Tablespoon of Dried Active Yeast

1 Teaspoon of Sugar
-
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
-
200ml of warm water
-
Salt to taste
For Pizza Sauce
-
3 Tomatoes
-
4 Cloves of Garlic
-
½ Teaspoon of dried Oregano
-
½ Teaspoon of dried Basil
-
½ Teaspoon of dried Rosemary, crushed
-
2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
-
Salt to taste
Toppings
-
100 gms of Chicken Tandoori (Boneless)
-
½ cup sliced Green Pepper
-
3 Tablespoons of Sweet corn
-
1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
Method
For Base
-
To begin making the Chicken Pizza, combine dry yeast and sugar in luke warm water and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, In a big bowl add all purpose flour, salt, oil, activated yeast and mix everything well.

Slowly add required water and knead soft dough.

Leave dough to rise for at least 6 hrs or until doubled in size.

Keep the dough in a warm place.
For Pizza Sauce

Heat oil in a pan, add the items given below Pizza Sauce.

Saute all the ingredients well in oil and grind it to a smooth paste.
How to proceed

When ready to cook, pre-heat oven at 200 degree Celsius.

Apply some oil in your palm and take the pizza dough and make a round shape pizza base.

Transfer the base to a pizza tray, spread pizza sauce evenly over it.

Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on it.

Now place the toppings of your choice. I have used tandoori chicken, green peppers and sweet corn.

Sprinkle some more cheese on the top. Place the pizza tray in the pre-heated oven.

Cook the pizza at 200 degree Celsius for 10 to 12 minutes or till the base is evenly browned and the cheese melts.

Once done, cut into equal wedges and serve immediately.
