It was so much fun to do this activity with the kids. We can make a memorable piece of arts with these egg filled paints. My Little one enjoyed every bit of this activity right from collecting the shells whenever we made an egg dish, till he smashed them all. This was done using items that are easily available.
Open the very top of the eggs and remove the egg whites and yolk. Save the empty shells. Rinse them and allow it to dry.
Fill the eggs with acrylic bottle paints. Any colour of your choice. We have used Blue, Pink, Yellow and Green.
Secure the top with transparent tape. Make sure that the tape is cut to an optimum size to cover the hole.
Repeat this process for remaining eggshells.
Head outside and set the canvas in a convenient place. We placed ours on the grass for our little one and he enjoyed smashing the eggs at the canvas to make an art.
Allow the egg splatter art to dry. You can store this as a memory or display it in the playroom.
We can’t wait for next Easter to do this activity again. We might do it pretty soon. Can’t wait to do more activities with our kids.
