Pasta is one of the popular foods among kids. We can bring many twists in our pasta with White sauce, Pesto sauce and Tomato sauce within no time. There are different varieties of pasta. In this recipe, we are going to use Penne Pasta. We can cook pasta in less than 10 minutes. Serve this pasta with Garlic Bread.
Ingredients

150 gms Penne Pasta

1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Flakes

1 Garlic Clove, finely chopped

1 Onion, finely chopped
-
2 Tomatoes, Coarsely grind

½ Capsicum chopped
-
1 Carrot, chopped
-
1 Zucchini/Courgette, chopped

2 Tablespoons Tomato Sauce
-
½ Teaspoon dry Basil Leaves
-
½ Teaspoon dry Oregano
-
Salt to taste
White Sauce Ingredients

2 Tablespoons Plain Flour

1 cup Milk
-
Butter
Method
White Sauce

Melt the butter in a heavy bottom saucepan over a low heat.

Remove from the heat and stir in the flour. Gradually pour in the milk and whisk constantly.

Return the pan to the heat and bring to the boil, stir continuously to avoid lumps.

Once the sauce is thick, get it off the flame.
Pasta Recipe

Cook Penne Pasta in a deep pan, drain the excess water and keep it aside.

In another pan, heat butter. Once the butter melts, add the chopped garlic and let it cook for a few seconds.

Then add in chopped onion, zucchini, capsicum, and carrot let them cook for a few seconds.

Then add dry basil, oregano, red chilli flakes, ketchup and tomato pulp and cook till they blend well.

Now add the white sauce and salt to the above ingredients and mix well.

Add very little water and cook for a minute.

Add the boiled penne pasta to the sauce and stir well.

Serve pasta with Garlic Bread.
