Detox water is water that has been infused with the flavors of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. There are many health benefits of ‘‘Detox water’’. Drinking more water keeps you hydrated. Adding a few ingredients in water increases its health benefits.
Staying fit is becoming a new trend among the current generation. Drinking smoothies or juices increase sugar levels in the body but fruit or vegetable infused water contains fewer calories.

Infused water can be made in any combination. I have listed a few combinations that we have tried and enjoyed.
Cucumber Mint
500 ml of water
5 slices cucumber
½ lime
3-4 strawberries sliced
Few mint leaves
Apple Cinnamon
500 ml of water
4 slices lemon
Few apple slices
4 raspberries
1 small cinnamon
Citrus Mint
500 ml of water
3-4 slices orange
1-inch ginger
4 slices cucumber
Few mint leaves
Cucumber Basil
500 ml of water
4 slices cucumber
½ lemon
4 basil leaves
There is no rule to make combinations. Here are some popular ingredients.

You can leave it in the fridge for 1-12 hours to allow the flavors to infuse more deeply. Once the water is ready to drink, make sure to discard the ingredients so they don’t begin to decompose.
Try not to consume excessive lemon or any acidic fruit as they can soften tooth enamel. Get advice from your doctor before you consume these infused waters if you are pregnant, lactating mothers, or have any health condition.
In short infusing water with fruits and vegetables means that you drink more water and less sugary drinks.
