Tangri Kebab is chicken leg roasted in Oven, which was marinated with few aromatic spice powders. I Never throw my chicken directly into the oven. Roast the chicken on pan for couple of minutes before you cook them in the oven, this way it will help to make your chicken juicy.
Ingredients

500 gms of Chicken Drumsticks

1 cup Hung Yogurt

1 Teaspoons Ginger Garlic Paste

1 Teaspoon Turmeric
-
1 Tablespoon Chilli Powder
-
1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
-
1 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
-
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
-
1 Teaspoon Chat masala
-
½ Teaspoon Pepper Powder

Oil for basting

Salt, to taste
Method

Wash the chicken pieces and make slits on it.

Mix all the ingredients with chicken except chat masala.

Marinate it for minimum 30 mins or overnight.

Heat 1-tablespoon oil in pan and cook marinated chicken for about 3 to 4 minutes before placing them in the oven.

Line the grill tray with foil and place chicken pieces and apply the remaining masala.

Preheat oven to 250-degree celcius.

Place the grill tray in the oven and cook for 15 to minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

Flip the chicken and brush oil on the chicken.

Put the grill tray back in the oven and cook for another 10 to 15 mins.

Remove chicken from oven and sprinkle some chat masala over hot chicken.

Serve Tangri Kebab with mint chutney and Kachumber.
Tips and Variations:

You can skip the process of cooking the chicken on the pan. It is totally optional.

Use Kashmiri Chilli powder, which gives very good colour.

Sprinkle chat masala when the chicken is hot.
