Chicken fry is my all-time favourite. I try to make different chicken dishes especially if it is from a roadside shop, the taste will be extraordinary compare to the one we buy from the restaurants. I used to eat chicken fry from a roadside in Coimbatore a few years back. That seller (anna) makes delicious chicken fry and that too he makes it fresh and serves us really hot chicken fry. I still remember, he sold for Rs.20 per plate. We used to buy it very often. I asked him for this recipe once, he immediately told me the list of ingredients and how they prepare the chicken for the next day sale. I was super happy to try this at home and trust me it came out so good but still didn’t stop buying from that anna shop.
I am very fond of roadside shops/thattukadai say it veg or non-veg. I enjoy eating chicken fry, fish fry, chaat or samosas from the road shop. This chicken fry is similar to our chicken 65 but we add all-purpose flour and cornflour, but it is a simple version of chicken 65. We don’t have to add any flour, but you will get the same taste.
